Emergency Restrictions Lifted

Emergency Restrictions Rescinded

As of today, 7/24/2023 Jonah Water is rescinding the emergency temporary Stage 3 drought restrictions. The Brazos River Authority has placed a temporary pump in service at the Lake Granger pump station, allowing water stoage levels within the treatment plant to fully recover. Repairs to the two permanent pumps are expected to be completed the week of July 29.
Though the Stage 3 declaration has been rescinded, Jonah Water will return to Stage 1 (voluntary) drought restrictions and ask that all customers continue to use water wisely and practice conservation methods during these summer drought months.
